THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING.
CHIVERIN started as a blog, and an idea. Now it is turning into something BIGGER.
…and there’s no better way to kick things off than with a party featuring some of our favourite bands around at the moment…. some with extremely promising musical futures.
Get ready to see The Louisiana as you have never seen it before!

———————————————————————————————————————-PLASTIC MERMAIDS have agreed to come half way across the country to play this show and we couldn’t be more excited. They’ve been track of the day/week in Q, Clash, The Sunday Times, Fader and Amazing Radio among others; with Rob Da Bank on Radio 1 being their latest champion.
It’s all for good reason as they are one of the most imaginatively accomplished bands around at the moment and their live show is a powerful spectacle. You’d really be silly to miss it.

NEW PALACE TALKIES were a major inspiration behind this party even happening! They’ve had us dancing before and they’ll do it again for sure. We couldn’t be more happy to have them on board for the festivities.
…their last tune ‘Dizzy’ set the internet on fire:

GULLS will be the perfect start, keeping your sun tinged Summer selves warm into the evening with their California influenced jangling guitars and swooning harmonies.

This weekend just gone was Stroud Fringe festival! As well as my new role of production assistant it was also my second year of being responsible for the decor at the main stage. I’d like to say thank you to all the volunteer staff who keep it a successful free event year on year, all of the sponsors for their kind donations, the incredibly talented musicians who blessed us with their music, and finally the festival goers for coming along and brining the fantastic atmosphere with them.
Genuinely only just starting to recover from the beast that was this weekend. We were happy to be part of the Invisible circus crew this weekend too, although we were on the box office and bar, and not behind any of the decor, it was still very inspiring to see the stage sets… now we’re off to buy a jigsaw and a nail gun! http://invisiblecircus.co.uk/
